Meet JoJo Fowler, AKA Fowl Plays

Welcome to Fowl Plays — where imagination, art, and a love for life come together in vibrant colour and creative expression. Based in Bristol, UK, I’m JoJo Fowler, a multidisciplinary artist with a passion for painting, illustration, pattern design, lino printing, sculpture, and beyond. My work is inspired by nature, festivals, travel, fantasy, and science fiction — infused with joy, humour, and a touch of everyday magic.

A Journey Through Colour & Creativity

Over the past two decades, I’ve explored many artistic forms — from building jungle-inspired installations with Fizzy Forest, to crafting stages, puppets, costumes, and furniture. My art has been exhibited across Bristol and beyond, including my recent debut at Upfest Presents. I’m excited to continue collaborating with other artists, charities, and communities throughout the UK and, hopefully one day, in New York.

Sustainability at the Heart of Every Creation

Sustainability is central to my practice. Many garments are produced with organic cotton through UK pioneers Teemill, part of a circular fashion initiative that allows pieces to be recycled into new clothing once they’ve reached the end of their life. I also partner with Printful to avoid overproduction — each piece is made to order, and even fabric offcuts are repurposed into smaller projects.

Every print, painting, or garment is created with love, longevity, and intention — designed to bring joy, spark connection, and remind us to live colourfully.
